Year-Round Research Projects
Small Stream Fish Research
Traps are placed in several creeks in the area to sample the fish and turtle that live in the streams, as long as the creeks aren't frozen over we will keep putting in the traps.
Bluebird Trail
This was the clubs first project over 20 years ago. We started with about 20 boxes with the idea of
repopulating Northwest Ohio with Bluebirds. Many of the Bluebirds were wiped out with the winters of 1977 and 1978. We have done what we set out to do. At this time, we have the largest maintained Bluebird Trail in Ohio with over 700 boxes. Each box is sponsored by an individual or group. Click here for information on sponsoring a box.
Wood Duck Boxes

Another of our first projects was construction and posting of Wood Duck Boxes. We now have the largest privately maintained Wood Duck Trail in Ohio with over 100 boxes. Each box is sponsored by an individual or group. Click here for information on sponsoring a box.
